WELCOME TO THE EAST PEORIA BOAT CLUB ON THE WEB!

A quick reminder, with the 2010 Luau just around the corner, we are trying to get our club ready for this great event. With this now 2 weeks away, we need help! First: Work Party scheduled for Saturday Aug 7th from 8am until noon. We need to clean the inside of the clubhouse (bar, bathrooms, kitchen and big room). We need to clean the grounds of any remaining flood debris and get items put away (Styrofoam, lumber, etc.), and spruce up our landscaping and greenspace.
Second: Sign-up sheets are located in the club to help make Luau successful. A big THANKS to all who have already volunteered and signed up thus far. We still have time slots to sell 50/50 tickets, opening for games and several other slots to assist our club with this event.. Also, we need food for the Luau Dinner. Please sign-up to bring a covered dish, salad or dessert item.
Third: Boats and boat trailers parked in the lot and south road NEED to be moved. Boats should be parked at the west end of the parking lot (by the big tree at the launch ramp) or south of the clubhouse. Boat trailers need to be parked in the LOWER grass area SOUTH of the clubhouse. There are to be no boats or trailers parked across from the campers. Lastly: Consumable items needed for Luau (toilet paper, cleaner, cups, utensils, etc.) please note this on the ORDER LIST posted at the club. Karen Leeper has volunteered to take this position over (thanks Karen!!) and she will get our club stocked for Luau.
Final Details: Please sell as many RAFFLE TICKETS as possible. (Charlie Meyer is leading right now, but the chase is on!!!!) INVITE your family and friends to this event! We have great food, great entertainment, games and raffles. Let’s get together and make this event better than those we’ve had.
Effective immediately, event set-up and decoration in the banquet room is permissible on the day of the event only.
Law and Order Section:
Smoking is not permitted inside the club!
If you are a no show for your scheduled bartender duties, you will be docked 10 hours.
