Polar Plunge

Join us for the 21st Annual Polar Plunge on January 1, 2025! To date, we have raised $207,585 for local charities. 


Let's beat the record of 459 jumpers & raise over $10,000 in 2025. Freezin' for a reason!

FAQs

 Q: How much does it cost to participate? 

A: Registration is $30.00 per person and includes a t-shirt. You must be at least 10 years old to participate.


Q: Where can you register?

A: You can register online at http://getmeregistered.com/ICEPLUNGE or you can register in-person on January 1 at East Peoria Boat Club.


Q: Do you have to be a member of East Peoria Boat Club to participate?

A: You do not need to be a member of East Peoria Boat Club to participate. The Polar Plunge is a community event and we encourage everyone to join us - even if you don't jump.


Q: Do you have to wear a costume?

A: Costumes are encouraged, but not required.  There are awards for the best dressed individual and best dressed group. Jumpers should wear shoes or sandals.


Q: Will food be available?

A: Food and drinks will be available for purchase.


Q: Can I donate without having to jump?

A: Yes, you can donate without having to jump by going to the online registration and selecting "Donate." http://getmeregistered.com/ICEPLUNGE.
